Plenty thought the same last year about the Cubs I don't agree. I remember fans of the Mets, Phillies, and Dodgers all hoping to draw the Cubs towards the end of the season. I think it's because despite having several good hitters and pitchers, there are none that really people stay up at night worying about. Of course most fans are idiots. I didn't say "all" or even "most". I get the idea behind some thinking the Phils are invincible, but it's baseball (or even life in general)...the "best" team doesn't always win. Can you really see the Cubs getting by the Phillies? We have enough trouble hitting in the playoffs anyway, but going up against Lee and Hamels with that offense that shelled our best pitcher this year already is just scary.

did something stretching for a ball when he was covering first. Then his first warmup pitch after that he goes down like he was shot. Looks to have hyperextended his knee. I know that's horrible to laugh at, but the mental image is making me LOL. worse: I LOLed watching it live
