    That's true. And if the question was $30m or nothing, you obviously take the $30m now. But if you already have the FU money guaranteed, there's plenty of reason to consider gambling the rest, and plenty of opportunity to make it all back. How would he make it back if after 5 years he's not worthy of a 30 million dollar contract?

    if lebron played in chicago, people would all be freaking the [expletive] out because he's not announcing where he's going during his camp. there's a lot to read into there and no one is really mentioning it. that goes for wade, too. yeah, but i dont know. it's concerning that a week ago the bulls were involved in all the rumors,a dn now they're involved in none. hopefully it's the calm before the strom, but i'm not confident. i feel like we're head to carlos boozer or david lee and ultimately, nba hell. at least we'll win like 50 games and maybe a playoff series next year... right? If Rose keeps improving, which he should, we won't be headed to NBA hell. It depends what you consider hell. Getting knock off in the playoffs every year is hell.

    you mean a young PG prefers a 2-guard that can handle the ball but is effective without the ball in his hands all the time, won't demand 30+ PPG and suddenly be anointed leader of the team that the young PG wants to lead? You mean he might prefer that to the second-coming of MJ? Maybe Rose just isn't wild about being pushed to the back burner by the team and fans just a couple years after being ROY and becoming a leader of this team. Maybe he thinks the team could win titles with JJ and Lee without having to deal with the LeBron circus. I could certainly understand some resentment by other players when a guy like LeBron wallows in the spotlight while their fans and FO kiss his ass. LOL! Right. As I said he's crazy...
