    I see Rich hill is on the bump tonight. Expect to see another great AAA start for him.

    too bad for rich that the big league team is so full of great talent right now. No offense to Rich Hill, but if Hill took advantage of the opportunity he got this year, last year, or even Spring Training, he would still be pitching with the Cubs instead of Marshall or Marmol.

    This just isn't true. Yup, definitely not true. It's not true in the sense that thier kid pitchers came of age this year. The staff ERA is the best in the AL. It always comes down to pitching.

    Why in the "bleeeeeeeeeeeep" does this idiot insist on playing guys who don't have along term future with the Cubs. Play Murton already you moron. I think you got to give Pagan and Murton a shot. Both show promise. Pagan hasn't shown a thing. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Cubs thought he had a long term future with the team. They like unproductive athletes. You judge that on 40 AB's?

    No surprise here... So we are going to get three more months of playing vets over rookies to try to win games this year for what? What a shame...We should be playing Cedeno, Murton, Hill, Marmol and Marshall every damn day! Hendry and the Cubs have no plan what-so-ever. They just plan for today. This just Sox!

    Marmol has 2 quality starts out of 5 overall starts. That's the fourth most quality starts on the team this year behind, not surprisingly, Z (13), Marshall (8), and Maddux (7). But those three have all made more starts than Marmol this year. I don't think Marmol has thrown too many pitches either. I think he should stay as long as he doesn't start to get routinely hit like Hill and Guzman did, neither of whom made a quality start this year at the ML level. I agree. Why wouldn't Marmol have confidence left? He's been pitching decent and hasn't been getting blown out.

    Watching the past couple of games DLEE looks like he's really and I mean really favoring his rest. He's not the same player.

    I'm not the biggest Rich Hill backer but he does deserve a real chance to make this club. Bring him up and pitch him the rest of the season. I have a feeling Maddux is going to be traded if that happens they better start Rich Hill and not Rusch!
