  1. The Sox game is on. You could watch that. I'd rather stick my pen in my eye...
  2. Yeah, because having too many capable pitchers is a bad thing. That was such a careless post. I'm hoping he kicks ass. I'd rather have Gooz in the long-man role. He still learning how to pitch. He'd make a nasty weapon coming out of the pen. If you guys think Wade Miller is going to be a capable ML starting pitcher once the regular season rolls around, good for you. I'll go on being "careless" and expecting not very much from him. When I said Careless I meant rooting for a player to fail. Sorry we need all the depth we can get at the Starting postion. I don't root for any of them to fail... That's only careless if you believe his "root" has any effect on the outcome. Otherwise its just his preference. Extreme example, if my son is up against my nephew, I'm rooting the nephew to fail. It's a careless preference then.... Anyone else not getting the MLBTV yet?

  4. He'll get it done. I'm not even concerned about it.
  5. Lou Pinnella is not going to care about the trade as saving face, he's more concerned about fielding a team with the best players. I just can't believe he would do something like that...
  6. Yes! I can't wait...Never seen the kid pitch.
  7. No surprise there. There's two weeks left, he should still be in the mix, but I can almost guarantee that if he continues to struggle he's not going to make this club.
  8. Because besides 2005 Cotts has been pretty bad, while Howry's been good for the past three years. As for the 5th starter. It's going to be Miller. Guzman will be the longman. You can set that in stone. I wouldn't set that in stone, only because by May it could all be different. Miller might make it to the opening day roster, but the guy is no more reliable than Prior or Wood have been in recent years. Oh I agree. Nothing it set in stone for the entire year. Espically with the Cubs. I wouldn't doubt Miller or anyone else getting hurt and Gooz taking over.

  11. I don't have a problem letting a young pitcher break in with a bullpen role. I actually perfer it...
  12. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/cs-070318cubs,1,6312260.story?page=1&coll=chi-sportstop-hed Sounds good to me!
  13. MEH! At least Hill pitched well and Dlee homered...
  14. Cotts should not make this ball club.
  15. I think that would be it for Hill. Another impressive Spring outing by Hill
  16. When Hill is rolling it's a thing of beauty.
