    I won't go that far. I still think the Cubs will win the division. The Brewers aren't infallible. Plus, they play the Tigers and Twins this week after loosing a series against the Rangers. They have their own problems. I agree, but 3/4 would've been so sweet! I totally agree Oh well it sucks, but just gotta hope Z goes deep in tomorrow game to give the pen a rest. As much as losing sucks, everyone else in the central feels the same way. This division will be decided head to head. No need to sweat it until then....

    That's the thing though. We are near 1st in many areas hitting and pitching. But it's usually ONE guy that totally BLOWS at the GOD DAMN WRONG TIME. It's friggen sickening. Just like tonite. We got screwed by the (d)umps, wasting all of our relievers, we scored some runs, then ONE GUY screws up. Not getting any runs in the 8th comes in a close second. They do this consistently and yet I'm always shocked and angered. No idea why?

    Forget that. The Cubs blew it in the top of the eighth. Bases loaded, no outs and the Cubs get no runs. That shouldn't happen. Are you serious? So happy I didn't watch this game.

    Now I'm even more angry because rather than galvanizing the team we're just letting Renteria and his Braves roll over us. I long for the 2003 5 game Cardinal series. That team battled!

    Indeed. I'd rather they win the game. If we are ahead by quite a bit throw at him. The Braves managed to do both last night. It's not mutually exclusive. No reason to fire up the opposing team at their home park, and lets face it they won because Marquis couldn't pitch his way out of a paper bag last night. We should've won that game.

    And I'll be right there with you unfortunately. Keep in mind, even if they win, they will still be 4 games under .500. I'm saving any optimism until they at least reach 500 again. I feel like we've had this conversation before... As always I'm telling myself not to get excited, but I can't help myself I'm excited again. Yes, I'm a sucker...

    When he is putting up a +850 ops in 8 years I will agree with this statement. Tufffy Rhodes hit 3 hr in a game once, I wouldnt pay him $136. Key word there...

    Don't feel good about this game. Sadly, we lose this game and Sunday.
