    And we will if our highly paid big guys start to rake. Lee has been doing his part, and lets hope today gets Aram on a hot streak. Those 2 can carry the offense into Sept. and while Soriano hasnt hit for avg lately his power was there last week. Hopefully JJ will get on a little hot streak also after today. Just when we get ready to write him off he comes up with a big game.

    I could have told you that. The only way that they make the playoffs is if they randomly get hot like they did in June. But even then, it would only be a mirage as this team just isn't that good. No team in the central is good though and any team no matter how good or bad they are can get hot over 20 games. The division is still up for grabs. That team looks to be the Brewers If they do that's going to give them confidence to really be a dangerous team for years to come. They can flat out rake.

    I agree and I think the Cubs chances of making the playoffs are extremely slim... but at the same time I still find myself wasting 3 hours a day watching them find ways to lose games. At least last year they were bad enough that I didn't feel inclined to watch every day, but this year I can't pull myself away from it. The joys of being a Cubs fan... All because no matter what you say deep down you still have faith that they will pull it out. That sums up being a Cubs fan.
