  1. Always a good time to bail for a bar.
  2. Good god yes! I think Estes had that one great start against the Reds and that was it.
  3. how 'bout a bomb right here.
  4. You mean like we're consistently good in the games we win and consistently bad in the games we lose? Like we've been consistently bad today, and two posts earlier you had questioned my prediction that the Cubs weren't going to win? And if it wasn't over before, it is now. BTW, you completely missed the point of that post. When the offense is good, the Cubs typically win. When it's bad, they typically lose. (Obviously, there are outliers in both cases)... They've won nearly 60% of their games. That's pretty damn consistently good. No reason why they can't bump that up to 80%.
  5. Pitt's going to score a couple more.
  6. At least Marquis is keeping us in this game. Hopefully our offense gets it going. I was afraid of a emotional let down.
  7. Hopefully we don't have a emotional letdown tomorrow.
  8. Not here. I was thinking best case 2/4.
  9. This may be the most fun I've had watching a series since the Cubs took 4/5 from the Cards in 2003.
  10. Don't retaliate. The Brewers are looking for a brawl and we can't afford injuries.
  11. Never going to happen.
  12. Winning again is fun! Let's keep it going!
  13. To my knowledge there's no bowling alley across from it, but Tango Sur on Southport is Argentinian, could be described as quaint, and is very good. Southport just south of Grace. Malnati's > Giordano's but Gio's is a good pizza experience. Hancock > Sears Tower unless you just want to be able to say you've been to the top of the Sears. Also, the Signature Lounge in the Hancock which was mentioned above is good for the drink + view, but unless you walk down the aisles of people eating their meals you don't get the full 360 degree views. I also recommend the architectural tours, which I have never been on but most people visiting me from out of state have and really enjoy. If you're a museum kind of person you pretty much can't go wrong if you just pick one that sounds like it interests you. Finally, the simpler things like just walking around downtown or hitting the beach for a few hours are also enjoyable. I love Tango Sur.
