To my knowledge there's no bowling alley across from it, but Tango Sur on Southport is Argentinian, could be described as quaint, and is very good. Southport just south of Grace. Malnati's > Giordano's but Gio's is a good pizza experience. Hancock > Sears Tower unless you just want to be able to say you've been to the top of the Sears. Also, the Signature Lounge in the Hancock which was mentioned above is good for the drink + view, but unless you walk down the aisles of people eating their meals you don't get the full 360 degree views. I also recommend the architectural tours, which I have never been on but most people visiting me from out of state have and really enjoy. If you're a museum kind of person you pretty much can't go wrong if you just pick one that sounds like it interests you. Finally, the simpler things like just walking around downtown or hitting the beach for a few hours are also enjoyable. I love Tango Sur.
