    I'm not quite sure the Cubs' record has sunk in on me yet. They have NEVER been this good in my entire life. That's pretty much the case for just about everyone here. I mean statistically, they have never been 30 games over .500 at any point in the season in my entire life. That's what I meant, too. I mean, I was 1 in 1984, so that doesn't really count. I didn't even watch a Cubs game all the way through till 1995. And even for those that did "live" through 69 and 84, I don't think those teams were as good as this one, and I think their high water marks were about 32 games over, and we still have over a month to go. I lived through 1984 and that was a very good team, this years team is better. I'll never forget going to the last game of the four game sweep of the Mets in August. Man, that was just amazing!

    I had 6 row behind the Cubs batting circle and Harden is just a beast! It's amazing the power he generates from such a small frame. The dude looks tiny compared to Marmol and The Shark. What a great game and I'm so freaking hung over!

    What does that even mean? Meaning I thought we were going to blow it. CUBS WIN!!!! Glad my feelings where ill-advised! I knew what you meant, just don't understand why. You don't understand why with a 1 run lead we could conceivably blow the game? I know very well Mr. Wood could blow a game with a 1 run lead. But couldn't it be said that with every game with a 1, or even 2 run lead that you don't have a good feeling? It could. This was a odd conversation.
