    that is actually great news IMO. we're like 94% to win the division; time to get guys fresh for the playoffs. I know this is true, but I still have a hard time relaxing. I can't help it! We'll be fine. I really hope we give Harden and Dempster some extra rest in September.

    what pissed me off more than usual about this game was the horrific umpiring. I felt like we didn't even have a chance in the 6th or 7th (whatever inning Soto and Soriano both K'd in after taking two outside pitches to fall behind 0-2) Plus who knows what might've happened if we have bases loaded w/one out when Lilly should've been called safe I also don't understand how Karros was insisting that Howard got him, even while explaining that his acting job was bad when he looked to first. Damn shameless 1bmen Very true, but we got the calls the day before. Baseball has a way of evening out...

    I'm not even stressed after this loss at all. I expected this series to be a split. Anything else is gravy in my book.

    hehe Pittsburg, right. Maybe Zambrano will pitch well tommorow, 3 of 4 would be great. I figured 2 of 4 would be good in this series anyway. Isn't Zambrano being skipped tomorrow?? I haven't heard he is. Look at page 2 of this thread. I see...I didn't see that. I'm glad!

    Exactly. 3 out of 4 against the Phillies sure wouldn't be bad at all. before the series, I would have been happy with a split. I'd sure like to win it now. Z needs to step it up tomorrow. I have a feeling he's going to get roughed up...
