If Barry Lamar Bonds were playing you could go ahead and pencil the U.S. in to be champions. I talked to Barry the other day...well, I didn't really talk to him. I was just kissing his arse, but I think Barry is probably the greatest player ever. Back when I played I wish Barry would've been on my team. We were probably already the greatest team ever, but with Barry we would have been even greater.

Seconded. And thank him for what he's done for us the last couple years. I'll never forget his Superman slide to win the Oakland game in 2004, or the time he blew a cycle in Houston - by hitting a second home run instead of getting the double he needed. Right after hitting a ball down the line that was a half foot foul and bounced into the stands. That was hilarious. And gave Roger Clemens his first loss of the season. :) I was at that game, and ran into Todd the next day in the Houston Galleria and chatted with him for a bit. -
I guarantee Joe Morgan will still be talking about him if he announces the WBC.

Yeah, he might have more INT's He's 2 for 3 for about 90 yards and a TD on those long passes, so I seriously doubt that. I don't.

I could pitch over 200 innings. That doesn't mean the Cubs need me. If true, they could definitely use your services. :D No one is saying Weaver is an ace, or even a top of the rotation guy, but he is a decent pitcher who will make most of his starts (he's had 30 or more starts in 4 of his 7 seasons with two other seasons of 29 and 24 starts). Plus, he will pitch into the 7th inning, in most of his games, which is a bonus for resting the bullpen. A team should be able to sign him to a one year deal (with a club option for a second year) without spending too much. Sign him up, a solid innings eater who can help to strengthen staff and if all goes south by the All-Star break.....you have a decent arm to trade to a contender for some quality prospects. Hold on there buddy. I never said I was good. I just said I could throw over 200 innings. to throw 200 innings, you'd have to get 600 outs - you up to it? Yeah, I thought about that part. I'm pretty sure I could do it. I've seen Mark Grace get 3 outs before.

Grace and Walker both never pulled any punches. They told it how it is, and I respect that. I respect Grace's honesty, but not when he is honest about behaving like a Neanderthal. I respect Grace as a player, but he sounds like a real pig. I don't think I want to meet him. I respect Walker as a player too - jury's out on him personally. I met him in the Galleria in Houston and he seemed like a very nice guy. I've also hung out with him in S'port and he was cool. -
Is it in negative numbers yet? This is about the most ridiculously bad game ever played by a QB in the playoffs. Was he really at one time the greatest QB in postseason history rating-wise? 8.5 That'd be good if he were an earthquake.
