There's conclusive evidence that he had control, though? I think him losing control of the ball before his arm hit the ground places enough doubt about him having possession to not overturn that call. There wasn't anything indisputable about those replays. I know it's a "evidence v. lack of opposing evidence" thing, but there's no sign of him losing possession until after two feet and at least one knee hit the ground. The official was still looking for the result after that point on the original call, which was wrong. I can't believe a TD didn't come of that. I'm saddened. It sucks watching the teams you like lose. I've gotten used to it watching the Cubs though.

I don't know why the Bucs don't use Alstott more. They used to line him up at tailback alot, and he was pretty successful.

No inferiority complex, just disgusted with the media lovefest w/ USC since '03 despite the FACT that LSU was the only true national champ. That LSU team would have beaten that USC team, IMO. There is no doubt in my mind. I would love to have seen that game played, but alas we'll never know. Georgia was the better team all year, so there was really nothing to expose. LSU is good team, but they had not a complete game all season. By the way, I'd love to see you have to eat your words.[/quote]

He said I had an inferiority complex and he was glad LSU "got exposed." I'm glad that both of the teams he rooted for got beat. and you proved him wrong by dredging this back up three days later. makes sense. I wasn't the 1st person to say I hoped he'd eat his words.

You may get more than you want. The Bears won in Tampa with Orton at QB. If we play Tampa, it will be in Chicago with Grossman at QB. I like our chances. The only way the Bears scored was b/c Simms fumbled on the 1. Don't kid yourself into thinking the Bears are great. I love this thinking. The Bears won because they FORCED the Simms fumble. It's one thing if it's 1 lucky break, but the Bears won 11 games by that same method. I can see using that excuse for losing to Cleveland, but that's the Bears m.o. You can't just assume that next time the Bears won't turn TOs into points, because they've made a habit of doing so. I understand they forced that turnover. I'm not dumb. What are the odds the Bears can force another turnover that deep in Bucs territory if they play again? Other than that series they couldn't even move the ball. Of course with Grossman playing their chances are alot better. That being said, I'm worried that the Bucs will have a tough time beating the Skins.
