    You're thinking of Crash Davis. No, there's been numerous reports that the Cubs think Henry has a future as a coach/mgr in the organization. He'd start in the minors, of course... I'd like for them to see if Maddux is interested in coaching now that he's officially hanging it up. I would think he eventually will be. He may want to take a few years to just relax though.

    Yeah, I missed it. Must have really been trying to avoid reading the Tebow fiction. If that statement about him being offered 4/9 is true, I believe that would double his current pay. So perhaps money talks. MSU is just a bad program as it stands right now. They've only had 2 winning seasons this decade and their winning 2007 season was just really flukeish. I've heard 4/12 Well if that's the case, then that would triple his current pay. That's quite the pay raise.

    I don't know if I buy him going there though. No doubt the SEC is an upgrade from the WAC, but MSU is pretty much the graveyard of the SEC. Their fan base isn't all that big, their facilities aren't on par with the rest of the conference, and Starkville is definitely the worst city in the SEC. I posted this a few posts up, but everyone was busy talking about Tebow's wang.

    I don't know if it's been mentioned, but there is alot of talk about Chris Peterson going to Miss. State. I don't have any idea why he would take that job. Not enough money to take that kind of hit to your career.
