Procedural question: can stuff like that be a reason to put a guy on the DL? Because that would have been a more elegant way out of this mess, obtaining the same result (getting Bradley out of the clubhouse for the rest of the season). If we had Bradley's permission, I know it wouldn't be a problem. A lot of players have gone on the DL in the last couple years with psychological issues... Zack Greinke, Joey Votto, Dontrelle Willis, Justin Duchscherer, Khalil Greene... As to whether we could do it without his permission? I'm not sure, but I'd sincerely doubt it. At the least, I can't imagine Bradley would consent to an evaluation, which would give him a slam dunk case when the players association decides to file a grievance on his behalf.
