  1. guess my vote didn't count :x What do you want/ not pie (yet) His bat might not be ready, but his defense is. He'd cover the range of a Sori/Murt LF/RF combo, provide a well above average arm on short drives, and will help the pitching staff. If we get the improved offense (and OBP) from Murton and Theriot, his bat wouldn't be an issue in the 8 hole. Just my dos centavos
  2. Hall's lucky he didn't end up with his forehead somewhere between his shoulderblades!
  3. Hey, Lou. We all, like voted, and we want the OF to be Soriana, Pie, Murton. Thanks, my man! p.s. start The Riot at short too pps DE RO!!!
  4. You stopped breathing? He's right. The correct tag would be [/holding breath] So much for my sarcasm
  5. You stopped breathing? better than stopping drinking..... er, umm, back to step 1
  6. [holding breath] [/breathing] Ohman looks SO much better against lefties, I have to admit.
  7. try upping the default buffer to 30 seconds. That's what has helped me. (though tonight I'm on EI. Yes I have both. Yes I'm spending way too much money for this team).
  8. Groundout to 1st. Use CBS sportsline. K Thanks. Dear Lou, Please no Floyd in the 2 hole. Thanks, Chris Dear Lou, ONLY THE RIOT in the 2 hole, please. Thank you.
  9. Would they have run on Pie?? Yeah. I just hate watching Jones throw. That's all I meant. I don't know, watch the replay. He was barely around 3rd when Jones fielded that ball AND he hesitated in his throw (only to do the hopity skipity thing). Yeah, he might have got him, but I'd think they'd have sent him on Pie as well. You have to gun down quite a few runners before teams start respecting your arm. Very true. But it does play to the fact that this OF (as it is tonight) has a defense that no one will respect (with the exception of Alf's arm from LF).

  11. Would they have run on Pie?? I just watched that replay and think that Pie would have made that real real close.
  12. PIGGLY WIGGLY SCOUTING REPORT?? I love the brew-crew. I really do.... ;)
  13. Mark 'lee majors' Prior. Dadadadadadadadadadadada
  14. Get well soon, Ron!
  15. Nice game all-around. I could've gone with a more consistent attack on offense, but over-all this was a good game. And if you want to define your team's ace as the stopper who ends losing streaks and starts winning streaks -- well Hill is looking like the real deal. With no offense, I'm glad we didn't trade him for Dunn (which was widely criticized on this site at one point).
  16. Cubs Win Now let's kill those redbirds
  17. Life is funnier and more enjoyable when Rich Hill pitches and the Cubs lead. so very true, amigo
  18. "You have to (learn) how to throw a throwing star and nunchucks and all those kinds of things. Obviously you've got to do martial arts and learn how to be really quiet, which is a tough task for me because I talk a lot." hehehehehehe
  19. walter - watch my beer. Ok, maybe its the rum and cokes, but that's pretty darn funny
