Atletico is Chris Mullins. It’s like, yeah, he’s great, but at some point you’re just filling out the roster. They better fine a way to hook Simeone up with some ownership, because he’s the biggest reason they’re in this. Without the recent success, I would’ve assumed Sevilla or Valencia.

why get rid of him right after he led them to qualification for the super league?!??!? LMAO, Levy's like, "you mean I don't have to put up with this horsefeathers now that our financial future is secure AND the press isn't going to be able to cover it breathlessly because they're distracted by football turning it's back on 100+ years of tradition? Let's go!" I'm starting to come around to the crowd that thinks this is a stunt to get concessions on larger TV rights shares and Champions League reforms.

Inter Miami - Galaxy is pretty jarring after City - Chelsea yesterday. Higuan is something beyond washed. Fat & slow is a bad recipe for south Florida heat and humidity.

That and they both faced managerial changes and minor injuries at the exact same times. Obviously form dips are way more concerning for 22 year old veterans than a 19 year old because you expect it from the young guy.

Hansi Flick is officially taking over Germany after the euros, and Nagelsmann is Bayern’s top choice. Looks like Marsch will be getting the big Red Bull job next year. I love it. Reunited with Tyler Adams, Caden Clark coming on board, and we’ll see Aaronson there eventually.

Not to mention Lletget clearly being to GGG what Kyle Beckerman was to Klinsy. Every coach has their one guy. A lot of attacking options. Snake bit season. Feels like there’s something not meant to be with CP & Tuchel.

This is a great, MLS-head pick. I believe Sam Vines will be a starter candidate if Dest stays on the right, a year from now. I also have a hard time seeing Jordan Morris holding off Aaronson as a winger. With the our forwards finding their feet in Europe, JMO as break glass in case of emergency forward is way less likely than even 6 months ago and Aaronson is developing at an incredibly quick rate in Europe. I expect him to be at RB Leipzig or another second tier big club a year from now. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a package deal with Marsch, wherever he ends up coaching next. Tough to see JMO come back from knee reconstruction and beat him out for that sparkplug attacker off the bench role. Aaronson just fits in so well with the style our center mids are playing. He's more horizontal than JMO.

Gareth Bale has always been cool (even tho he looks like a dragonball z character) and should’ve transferred back to Spurs while Poch was still there. Everton have the most momentum in the Dike transfer sweepstakes, which I think is perfect. Get him on that young Lukaku trajectory.

Real soccer countries don't like the Olympics because typically, they have many u-23 players contributing to the senior team and huge clubs, which prevents them from getting released for the tournament, let alone qualifying. So while we should definitely expect to qualify from CONCACAF, even with a u-23 B or C team, our best u-23's play for huge clubs that have zero interest in their multi-million dollar investments participating. The fed definitely shouldn't have hired Jason Kreis, but all things considered, this failure doesn't mean much. Especially while we're consistently producing the best men's talent we ever have.
