Mexico won. The Davies goal was just that. A blistering header deflected straight back to him about waist high that he tried to volley and went over.

The propaganda commercials on this Honduras TV are both funny and a bummer reminder that they pretty much in Civil War right now. I really wouldn't be shocked in the ref is in the Honduran President's pocket in this game. He needs a win for patriotism's last gasp in his regime.

Didn't stop Dennis Rodman from doing things that big men do but do it better than people 5-6 inches taller than him. Same goes for Ben Wallace. I'm not saying that Blair is in the same class as them, but you can't dismiss his potential because of his height. Using the exceptions to prove the rule is not a good tactic.

There's like 4 players in the whole draft who have a chance to be "pretty freaking good." Dejuan Blair isn't one of them.

I know it was preseason, but everyone knows rebounding translates from college to the NBA. Doesn't mean much, but it helps illustrate the point a bit. I agree. I liked Blair for that reason too. I'm just saying, I'd be surprised if he's anything more than Ronaldo Balkman. Nothing to regret missing out on.

They shouldn't even make preseason NBA scores public. That way people don't start thinking dumb things about the Taj Gibson/James Johnson/Dejuan Blair's of the world. Although for the record, I wanted Blair at 26 too.

He's only played once. Came in the 52nd last week in the Champions League. Looked rusty. I'm not psyched about how this will affect him in the World Cup.
