His family are permanent residents so he can become one anytime, right? I'm not positive. I do know he doesn't have a green card; thankfully he's 17, so if he wants to start the process now (or marry an American girl) we have time. So, Jamaica got absolutely screwed in the draw. Mexico, USA and Honduras in a 10 day span. Mexico beat them last night, and I think it plays into our hands on Friday because they'll actually have to come out and play for the win rather than a 0-0 draw. They're eliminated for all intents and purposes if we win.

Herculez Gomez transferred to Tijuana. That's an exciting move for him. He scored a goal in every other game for Santos, but he'll get to be the man for Xolos, play with other Mexican Americans and live in San Diego.
