    It's like he has that cartoonish fast-moving circular blur for a lower half instead of legs.

    A's/Giants just ended, and apparently Bengie Molina and then Eliezer Alfonso, the two catchers, both had to leave the game with injuries, forcing several guys into emergency positions for the first time in their careers: - Pedro Feliz moved from third base to catcher - Randy Winn moved from center field to third base - Dan Ortmeier moved from right field to center field And my favorite part, the San Francisco bench was devoid of position players by this point, so pitcher Noah Lowry had to come into the game to play right field. I don't know about anyone else, but I love seeing nutty emergency stuff like that.

    I'm laughing at ESPN. They have Monday night's game lined up for the national broadcast, thinking it was going to be the Rocket's return. Now? All they get is... well, Yankees/White Sox.

    With Pagan on 2nd following a double, Jones took a pitch in the dirt and Pagan attempted, unsuccessfully, to take 3rd. The play was close but the call was accurate, and Lou just said "What the hell?" and decided to let fly. Lots of getting in the ump's face, shouting, kicking dirt, throwing his hat - what you'd expect from Lou managing a team this bad.
