I dunno if Manny and Thome will get there this year based on their performances thus far, but there's no legitimate reason, barring unforseen circumstances, that all the rest won't happen. Don't forget that if/when Pedro Martinez comes back, he's only 2 strikeouts shy of 3,000 for his career.

"Dadgum" was a clean and acceptable substitute for something a little bluer, last I checked, and I know he's dropped "BS" during cable broadcasts before with little to no recourse.

No denying the guy had his defensive shortcomings, but by all accounts he was a stand-up guy in the clubhouse and a top-notch teammate (when not brawling with opposing catchers/his pitchers) and we all know that when he was going right, the guy could flat out hit.
