    Do you approve of such meaningless distractions at ballgames? I'm just saying, the Cubs, the Red Sox, the Yankees, none of them engage in that crap and yet the fans manage to pay attention and stay engaged just fine.

    MLB needs to add a rule that actually makes sense. Any team: - Whose fans do the wave, toss around a beach ball, or anything of the sort - That puts up a lightboard imploring the fans to "MAKE NOISE" or anything of the sort - That shoots off fireworks or runs a train or some crap after a home run or a win will automatically forfeit the game. Terrible beyond words.
