    Ouch, a bad enough offensive game that the pitcher is the only one who drives in runs. That's always a treat. This is how my baseball life in Missouri is. I watch STL baseball on TV and watch Cubs baseball on Gameday and here. It sucks.

    I like the idea, but I think everyone should get the chance to wear it, even more than one person on a team. JJ said he wouldn't mind wearing the number for a day becuase of the fact that he's here because of him.

    On gameday it shows he's keeping the ball down except with half of his pitches which are out of the strike zone.

    It's an Aflac commercial. The goat is bad in it or something. So maybe the Cubs need Aflac to win the World Series.

    You're friends with a Cardinals fan? :shock: J/K My brother's fiancee is a Cardinals fan. Haha, I live in the middle of Missouri, I don't really have a choice. Heard that!...Cards lose..."Oh no we won't get back to the world series!"

    Change Yankees to Cardinals and I agree with you. It sucks being in cardinal country. With them 0-2 already they feel their season is already in jeopardy. It's so stupid. I hear that...but there is a big part of me that smiles inside when I hear them cry about their 0-2 start..I of course, won't be happy until its a 0-162 start...but hey...they're getting there. Oh don't get me wrong I am enjoying it. I told my teacher it smelled like someone took an el duque in class today but then he talked about his world series last year. It is hard to beat.

    You all are lucky. Living in cardinal country you only get to see the redbirds. No WGN or Comcast for me. The only time I get to see the Cubs is when they play the cardinals. And then I have to listen to Dan McLaughlin and Al Hrabosky for 3 hours talk about how God doesn't ever want the cardinals to lose.

    Well, I guess I have to think how decent Arroyo did in the N.L. last year and hopefully Lilly can do the same.

    I was most worried about Lilly since is "suppose" to be a starter for us, and we payed him a freak load of money.
