Griffey to Cubs?

I like the thought of platooning Griffey and Floyd because then that reduces the risk of both of them getting hurt, but i would not give up marshall for this....if you can keep the rotation together and get griffey i'm all for it -
so i was thinking that when barrett got in the fight with AJP last year he went on an absolute tear....so maybe just maybe Lee will go on a tear, which would be even greater because Lee was already playin really well... WIN A SERIES

LOL, I'm not convinced that Maddux wouldn't but I don't think either starter will. umm they should highlights on CSN with the dawson fight against the padres and after all the fighting maddux hit benito santiago in the hip...so im sure he would do it cuz the cubs arent his team....but i doubt anything happens cuz the cubs would have to retaliate and its way to big of a game for them...cuz they can ill afford to drop a series they have a nice stretch going and need to build up momentum for texas witha win

"I would hit one of his teammates in the ribs" isn't really bad, but it looks terrible in light of the incident today. i agree what peavy said isnt bad, but its the sleezy jagbag blindsiding Lee when the fight was startin to cool off and they were seperated...he saw his chance to exact revenge and he did it...ill take renteria clotheslining fontenot in a non sneaky way all day than what peavy did today...be a man

If Peavy was sucker punching Lee, then I'd bet my bank account that Barrett was hitting Peavy as hard as physically possible. I hope Big Z taught him something...good thing BBTN made it clear Z was in the clubhouse as to why his belt was out because that could get blown outta proportion wit the incompetent mlb offices and penalize him for tryin to give him a whooping

I'm not sure that is a great idea. I know personally I would not be very happy if someone went "out on a limb" accusing me of something without actual facts. If there's footage of you mouthing it, then it's totally called for. What footage?? What did he say!? you get a pretty good view on the highlights MLB.com has up right now. I couldn't pick up what he was saying. Whatever he said made Derrek turn and say, "what!?" I can't find any, can you link me to it? it's on MLB.com's main page. here's another look The Fight this view isn't so great and the quality is meh. Who is the Padre in the warmup jacket that grabs Lee from behind in a bear hug and sets off the second incident? jake peavy was the spineless d-bag that kept things goin cuz he grabs lee from behind....then barrett jumps on him and perry puts him in a headlock I hope Peavy took some blows while in that pile. he took the sweet chokehold from perry....p.s. russell branyan who doesnt kno what was goin on in that discussion of dlee and young decided to chime in and say how lee had no right to do that...branyan is a dbag too...stay classy, san diego

So, you want us to lose 2-1 instead of 1-0? How about one more lousy run than the other team? and one less lousy punch thrown by a cubs player...they need to just win the series
