Oh I can definitely see it both ways. How? Seriously? I can't possibly make it fit. I mean, I can see "horsefeathing send him", but I cannot make "Why didn't he" fit before that without being comically high speed compared to the slow, emphatic pace of the rest of the sentence. Forget matching syllables to the movement of his lips, just look at the timing of it.

"why didn't he [expletive] send him" or "what a [expletive] game"? i still can't tell. It's "What a horsefeathering game." Agreed. I've seen some people swear it's the first one, but I can't come anywhere close to making that many syllables fit.

More than not perfect, trying to use Chapman for multiple innings in game 6 is an objectively terrible decision, and it had dramatic consequences. However, Maddon is typically much better than that, and he also deserves credit for the resilience of the team. Can you imagine a Dusty Baker-led team coming back in those circumstances?

Did Rizzo really strip down to nothing when he started shadow boxing to the Rocky theme in the clubhouse? Sounds like things were getting a bit nutty in there.

I was nearly blind with rage when Joe's head-scratching moves (pulling Hendricks for Lester with the runner on, and misusing Chapman) combined to obliterate the five run lead. Seriously, I was feeling sick to my stomach every time they showed him in the dugout after that, I really hated the thought of him as the Cubs manager next season. The players picked him up, though. I love the way this team was resilient in the face of adversity that would have destroyed so many Cubs teams from the past.

This rings pretty hollow when people are questioning Chapman's use yesterday, and Chapman is the one who drops the ball. This isn't Joe getting second-guessed, this is people questioning his moves as they happen and ending up correct.
