    I don't know how some of you are going to make it through the rest of the season because Dusty is not getting fired. He might resign, but he's not going to get fired. Too bad Tampa Bay is at home this weekend. Looking at the forecast for the weekend and there may be at least two rainouts. I'll make it just fine. I know he is the problem but I also know he is Hendry's guy. There is probably a 33% chance he will be fired. I am ok with that. Cubbie from TX in AR

    I think we need to look at these players as individuals and not lump them all in as the next Corey. It's clear that Pie probably needs more time, especially coming off an injury. Murton, on the other hand, is a little older (23), played in college, and is known for a high baseball IQ. In other words, Murton is the kind of guy that seems capable of making adjustments and already has a sound approach to hitting and getting on base. Murton's situation is not the same as Corey's. Corey was (is) simply all young raw talent that didn't (and still doesn't) have Murton's baseball IQ. I guess wht I'm trying to say is Murton appears mature enough to handle a callup and recognize that adjustments will have to be made for the majors. Pie may need more time in the minors to handle the adjustments. Good point

    Agreed on the Baker side. There would be no point in bringing them up around him at all.

    Ok, so if they do some time in Iowa, how much time would you like to use a sample? I mean, 10 days, two weeks, and if they are cutting it, up they come, if not, back down they go? I don't have too much in depth knowledge of our minors, other knowing names and basics. Someone else feel free to jump in and help out. Cubbie from TX in AR

    Exactly. To me all these different things make it sound like there could be a bunch of changes. Love to see them start with saying goodbye to Dusty, so if the young guys are called up, they can play. Cubbie from TX in AR
