Hmmm, that website you posted sure seems like it's for any subscriber, not just new ones. I think it's cool that they do that, too. Don't know about "sticking it" to DirecTV, since it basically means they're giving up on actually offering the real deal to their subscribers like DirecTV is. They're just trying like hell to avoid a mass exodus of their own subscribers to DirecTV, that's all. And who could blame them? As I posted, the Cox CSR was wrong. :)
