  1. Looks similar to the penalty against the UGA player against Oklahoma State. Leading with the shoulder, it appears. Definitely led with shoulder, but they called helmet-to-helmet.
  2. That was awesome and I still contend that the penalty was BS.
  3. I think this was expected. Danielson & Lundquist (?) were discussing this likelihood during the Arkansas-LSU game.
  4. The receivers suck just as much as those other units. I just took some slack off of them a bit b/c of the pressure the OL allows on Cutler. That and they've done a little bit better than I expected, but yeah for the most part I agree.
  5. Troy, the D sucks, the OL sucks, the recievers (kinda) suck and the coaching sucks.
  6. If that's a Bears challenge that goes for the other team. And of course another offsides. MOTHER....
  7. I hope he gets out of this season alive.
  8. Amazing return and we may get 3 pts. WOW!!
  9. A challenge, really? SOB!
  10. Initially I didn't like the LSU unis, but after looking at them in real pictures, they're not as bad as I originally thought. At least for one game. http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab247/cochondelait/uniforms/uni3.jpg http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab247/cochondelait/uniforms/uni13.jpg http://i868.photobucket.com/albums/ab247/cochondelait/uniforms/uni9.jpg Wish the pictures weren't so grainy and had less glare, but I still like the unis.
  11. Microcosm of the Bears season? I saw people mention this during the game thread, but missed it. That's hilarious. I'm sorry I erased it off the DVR already.
  12. It appears not. The Bears pay Olin to snap poorly, commit false start penalties, and have a mean streak. At least he still has that (which I love), but it really doesn't do all that much good if you're not going to block anybody.
  13. That was a terrible spot.
  14. Another damn holding? SOB!
  15. How do you not have someone shadowing Vick?
  16. I think I've pulled all of mine out after that embarrassing debacle. The whole coaching staff should have been canned right after the game and made to walk home. Waiting something like 17 seconds to call a timeout and then not having the FG team ready to go are just two of the most inexcusable mistakes I've seen. Not only that, but offensive play calling at the end of the game was horrendous. Although the really didn't deserve to win the game they still managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
  17. It was over after Navy. So who is the leading candidate for the job? I hope they get someone good.
  18. It was some sort of Military day. Probably has something to do with Camp Lejeune being in SC. They looked terrible (particularly the bizarre sleeves) Strips of camouflage on the shoulders.
  19. Something to do with the armed forces, but I didn't catch the whole story.
  20. I was one of the bigger Benson defenders on here when he was on the Bears. I said it then, I'll say it now. Get Forte a line and we'll see how he does. Although I wasn't exactly a defender of Benson, I've always believed he kinda got a bad rap as a runner given the run blocking.
  21. Okay, maybe not indefensible, but I'm just really beside myself about losing that game in that fashion. That said, Olsen didn't seem to be looking for the ball at all and hence I thought it was indefensible. Indefensible may have been a bit of an over-reaction. All I'm saying is you really can't just take a sack there. Even if Olsen isn't looking, there were 2 defenders about to tackle Cutler, so he pretty much had to try something. Cutler has struggled in 3 games this year, yes, but the line is just as much a part of it as anything, with their inability to block rushers or open running lanes. With no rushing game, the Bears are basically one-dimensional from the start of the game. Obviously he couldn't take a sack, but you don't think he saw anybody else he could have thrown it to? We're in total agreement as far as the O-line is concerned and how it affects the rest of the offense.

  23. That one was indefensible. That one almost makes me want to run Cutler out of town. ALMOST.
