  1. Easy answer. As I've never seen an episode of "24", it's the football, handsdown.
  2. NFL player analysts just lost all credibility w/ me. One player analyst on Cold Pizza just touted Tommie Harris as a critical member of the defense to watch for Sunday. I guess CP lost as much credibility (not that it had any before) for even allowing that to happen.
  3. I think you answered your own question. It's espn, no more needs to be said.
  4. I've been to a number of NFL games (none of which were playoffs or in Chicago  ). That being said, I'd rather fork over $$ for regular season game, regardless of the implications. I just don't like the idea of paying big bucks for the possibility of watching my favorite team lose and being one and done. Of course, I'm sure that atmosphere alone is worth the price of admission. The Super Bowl is another story, though. I'd gladly pay the money for that.
  5. HOLY CRAP!!! I don't even know you and I can't stand you. Enjoy.
  6. Where is the all/most of the above option?
  7. No problem. It's not like they'd have an advantage if they watched the NFC games live on TV, they don't strategize based off the video from the TV feeds. I think this is obvious to most knowledgable people, including the mediots. I think the problem, as seen by those who complain about it (not me), is that Lovie should have been preparing by watching game tape of his potential opponents and maybe preparing Rex, although that is what Wade Wilson is for. No rational person can expect these guys to be watching tape and preparing Rex 24/7. They have off days. Nobody has a problem with them taking off days. Nobody would be complaining if he sat at home and watched the game with his wife. This is just complaining for the sake of complaining without any reasonable basis for the complaint. Agreed 100%. Those were my exact thoughts when I saw or read the views of these people.

  9. Just out of curiousity, does anyone here have a problem with Lovie having attended the KC/IND game? I don't personally, but I've seen people complaining both on TV and message boards.
  10. He's very good at what he does. And I hate him for it.
  11. That's funny Vance because that's how I view the SEC and Big 10. Plus, Thanks to Delaney (Big 10 Commish) we will NEVER have a playoff because he's too happy with the Rose Bowl the way it's set up now. You think the lack of a playoff makes me happy? No, it doesn't. And how do you go and call 23 teams out of 119 spoiled rich kids? Absurd. That and they seem to lick up half the national titles. I mean, at least they have something back up. congrats on 1000 posts The era of independent college teams is past us. 20 years ago Penn State, Miami, ND, Temple, Navy, Army, Cincy, etc. were all independents. Only a couple left these days. Get with the program ND! Although, I'm a diehard LSU fan and don't hate ND, that is one of the things that makes me like the Irish even more.
  12. I refuse get caught up this again, but out of curiousity how can my opinion be wrong? It is afterall an opinion. And just to clarify, it only seemed as if one person was really upset with me. It was a joke. It's a new concept. Sorry, humor/sarcasm doesn't always translate well on the internet.

  14. Screw V. Young and R. Bush for ROY. Hester would have my vote.
  15. SHUT UP, KORNHOLER!!! Dallas, WTF!!!
  16. Tackling aside, Rivera needs to find a way to fix this ASAP!!!
  17. Thanks Tirico!!! And before anyone tries to call me out, I know he didn't make Gould miss.
  18. I dont care whether you like real or fake; but when you vehamently express how much you "detest" things that are part of many peoples holiday rituals, dont be shocked when you are met with opposing views. Relax. Unless you're a tree, you really shouldn't be personally offend by my opinion on real vs. plastic trees. Who care's what I think about trees, I'm just expressing my opinion on a tree, not your family or their traditions. When I posted my initial opinion, I had no idea that your family so valued plastic trees. Had I known that, I would certainly have expressed my opinion in such a way so as not to offend you or anyone else.
  19. Have you ever actually had a fake tree? They're really no form of evil. Nope. Never have, never will. I know people who do. What's your point? I know they're not evil, but unless you spend big bucks on a fake one, you can tell they're fake. Even if it doesn't look fake, if you see a tree and don't smell the pine scent (which I like) you can tell it's a fake. Why does it matter if you know it's fake? And furthermore, thats a flat out lie that you have to spend big bucks on a tree for it to look real. Ours wasn't much over a hundred dollars. We've had it for about 7 or 8 years now. Real tree's cost 25 dollars at the Lions Club in town. So thus far we have saved 75-100 dollars. Also, My granparents have a real tree and I cant smell it unless I walk up and put my nose right to it, so whats the point? I'm sorry, but I've seen many $100 dollar fake trees and everyone that I've seen was easily distinguishable as a fake. How is my opinion a lie? In my opinion the less expensive trees are easy to differentiate from the more expensive ones. Also in my opinion fakes are more distinguishable from real trees. NOTE: So as not to offend anyone that observation has no bearing on the people who purchase said tree, just on the trees themselves. I guess your grandparents tree is indicative of all trees, either that or my nose is just more sensitive. I've never had any trouble when it comes to getting the scent. Wow, I really didn't know that my disgust with fake trees (again not the people who purchase them) would generate so much hostility and disection of my opinions. My apologies. Apparently there's alot of sensitivity when it comes to defending fake versus real trees.
  20. Have you ever actually had a fake tree? They're really no form of evil. Nope. Never have, never will. I know people who do. What's your point? Even if it doesn't look fake, if you see a tree and don't smell the pine scent (which I like) you can tell it's a fake. Why does it matter if you know it's fake? Did I say it mattered? I said I don't like it.

  22. I absolutely detest the idea of a fake X-mas tree. I'd rather go without a tree than put a fake one up. Until it becomes cost prohibitive to go real (even then my tolerance would still be pretty high), I will always go real.
  23. Man, this really sucks! I really wanted to see LSU in the Rose Bowl against USC or anyone else. Not only that, but now I have to watch my favorite team (LSU) play one of my other favorites in ND. Yay me, I get to relive the nightmare again as I did when they played twice in '97 or '98. To top it all off I probably won't get to go to the game, unlike LSU's National Championship year. I'll definitely be pulling for LSU, though I hope ND can keep it somewhat close.
  24. Wow, I thought Arkansas' QB looked bad!!! Neb. should be all over OU with opportunities they've had.
  25. Interview the winning coach first damnit!!! Who cares what this loser has to say?
