I enjoyed watching that. It wasn't bad, but they really didn't have a lot to ask the guy. It seemed like they put him on cause the players are hanging their heads.No, the guy's been a fixture in the clubhouse for 25 years and they decided to honor him with a few minutes of facetime before he retires. I thought it was nice little, respectful thing to do for an old man on his way out the door. Better than some idiot know-it-all journalist or cliche tossing player/manager.

I can't live with either. I don't like looking up at St. Louis. Which of course hasn't happend yet. It will, by next week. It may, but to just give in like it's already happened seems like an extremely weak attitude.

The pitcher did tip his cap to him and a couple of random players, particularly in the dugout, were clapping, albeit meekly.
