    I agree whole heartedly. Pinto - control issues, he can be good, can fizzle Nolasco - I like him, but the way the Cubs are he isn't going to get an extended look in the rotation, he'd be up and down but never stick just like Mitre Mitre - if included, wasn't going to make the team and had no options, I have a soft spot for Surge and am glad he would be going to a place that needs him.

    I was hoping they would need to send us a guy from their 40 man, but they are at 34 right now + 1 or 2 from us depending on what the trade turns out to be.

    Just in case you missed, he wasn't implying they aren't studs, just thought (as did I) that it was funny that a professional web site would refer to players as studs.

    Surge and Pinto OR Nolasco would be the great. I really want to see Sergio get a chance to be a starter somewhere where better than a glorified AAA team.

    i've heard other people say that, and i don't understand why. won't the slow grass keep his slap hits from getting through? Wouldn't they die in limbo between fielders like infield hits and swinging bunts.
