  1. What exactly is it going to hurt, trading a declining star who actually has a bit of a market? Is it so bad to... A) Get some players back that we will have control of for much longer than Maddux B) Give Rich Hill 2 months to pitch ? I relize that he a great tool to have to talk to the young pitchers, but he's only going to be around for 2 months. And I really want to know how it's going to hurt Dusty, do they go and get beers together?
  2. Any chance he sees Peoria? His bat could probably help in the playoffs.
  3. seems like a poor mans Francouer. Big time power, big time arm, no walks, and capable of going on hitting streaks.
  4. Do they not teach proper hydration in Venezuela?
  5. Maddux is out there playing like a 20 year old
  6. The adventures of Neifi would make a great sitcom.
  7. is that Carlos Beltran out there?? Oh it's Angel.
  8. :( his numbers from the game are sick too... please be nothing.
  9. If Jacque can still handle CF, sign/trade for a good LF and RF, and we got a good outfield.
  10. ha, remember when Dusty argued calls and at least pretended like he cared.
  11. Ricky had a great start yesterday, and knocked in two runs to boot. :( D-Train v.2
  12. HR for Canzler... trying to show up Lewis.
  13. Maybe it's something in that Northwest air ;) Pawelek is hitting guys left and right too.
  14. Samardzija's going out with a bang in low A. 5.0IP, 4K, 3H, 2BB, HBP, 7-4 GO-FO 2.37 ERA in Boise
  15. i'd have a new favorite team too.
  16. a HR for Deryck Lewis Samardzija: 4.0IP, 3H, 3K, 2BB, HBP 6-3 GO-FO
  17. If somebody trades for Glendon Rusch, I'd be inclined to believe that Jim hendry is not the worst GM in baseball.
  18. I was going to put in Sergio, but he's only made a couple of starts and they were a little more high profile then most of the guys i listed (i.e. all at MLB level) Todd Wellemeyer 0-2, 4.66ERA, 36.2IP, 31 hits, 26/23 K/BB I'm not sure if that includes his time in Florida, stats came from the Royals web site. While I was at the Royals web site, even though he doesn't fit the criteria Andrew Sisco 0-2, 7.51 ERA 1/4 saves, 38.1IP, 44 hits, 34/28 K/BB
  19. A Paxson interview, nothing groundbreaking but it's nice to read an interview from a GM of a team I root for and know that he knows what he's doing. http://www.denverpost.com/nuggets/ci_4058125
