    I'm not so sure about Speir, he was the infield instructor also and Trammel is going to be doing that now so I'm guessing Speir is less appealing. I like the idea of Jody Davis, he could work with Barrett.

    I could have swore I read a version of these quotes where he said something along the lines of Baker throws toothpicks and Piniella throws bases.

    The potential for bad winter weather certainly would be even more of a help to their already-great defense. But I don't think the Bears play an offensive style that's all that favorable for playing in wind, cold or snow. They don't run the ball all that well, and they have been using the deep pass extensively so far this season. I just don't want the Bears to have to play in Seattle. Look what happened to Eli, in what was it week 2?. Imagine what the fans could do to Rex in the NFC championship game.

    Oops on the nbc/abc mix up. Can anybody think of a more proper game for Favre to go out on, than on his back in soldier field :o

    Is there going to be SNF on 12/31? Because IF the Bears were to get to 15-0 I would think NBC would want that game.

    I really don't think so, look at the two games that the Bears didn't dominate. Metrodome (where they suck) and a loud AZ stadium. I do not want the Bears to have to play in seattle in the playoffs.

    sweet, You have the Gould video. Did anybody here Joniak's call of the Hester return? I loved his call of it in the first game, this had to be so much better.

    I believe he was talking about the preseason game. He was refering to the Bears saying that they didn't really try to win the preseason game. he was saying it was the 3rd preseason game so they both teams played hard for 3 quarters, and the Cardinals won.

    I think he's tradeable if he is extended before he opts out for FA. Arroyo was traded recently after being extended last offseason.
