i'm still in awe of how that half swing resulted in an oppo home run... We have to lead the league in the last couple of years in giving up crushing "weak" home runs. (the Russel Branyon swing in the Zambrano near no hitter last year comes to mind)
Eh, I think that 6 weeks is probably the right estimate. Still better than ESPN's "at least" 6 weeks, which could mean even longer. 6 weeks is also what Lou said post game, so it's not just ESPN guessing that.
Geovany doesn't like it when game threads are full of overreaction and everybody is bitching at each other. Thankfully Geo takes it out on the other team and not us. http://d.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20080611/capt.4f278e57bd0243ce824d1913a5db1750.braves_cubs_baseball_cxc114.jpg
Yep, funny how selective perception works, b/c I though he was a "Cub killer" too....until I looked up those same splits. there's a certain double header that makes him a cub killer for life
Yeah, i believe they had numbers on Soriano since Mid or late May on the telecast last night and I think he's hitting like .350ish since that period. Looked horrible yesterday but so did everybody else.
anybody good with photoshop want to put Bob's man-stache on Len, and remove Bob's? http://wgntv.trb.com/sports/custom/weblog/wgnsports/archives/DSCN0218_001.jpg They'd probably put it on the air if someone did it and sent it in.
