Finally watched this and it is great. As weird as it is to complain about a documentary about the Cubs winning the World Series, but I was a little disappointed in the coverage of game 5. The crazy bobble by Ross and snag by Rizzo was played in a clip earlier but not brought up and neither was Heyward climbing the right field wall. When a big part of the Cubs story is how strange things go wrong, I personally thought those 2 crazy defensive plays were a big part of the story of the turn around game. Also should have cut the Indians Major League stuff and put in Rizzo's turning the Rocky series into their motivation. -

An article from random website forecasting the next 5 World Series' popped on my Facebook today, and I became irrationally annoyed they didn't pick the Cubs for next year. 2017 - Blue Jays over Cubs 2018 - Giants over Red Sox (much of their reasoning was Bumgarner, Cueto, Shark is a great rotation and the return of the even year eyeroll.gif) 2019 - Cubs over Indians again 2020 - Astros over Cardinals 2021 - Braves over Yankees I guess an article putting Cubs over who cares 5 times in a row wouldn't get as many clicks.

Mildy annoyed that my Hoodie (in the same style as the locker room shirt) purchased from MLBShop is a Gildan. Majestic logo on the design, gildan hoddie. I also bought the NL Champions one and it was Majestic and much better quality.

I think his dad is a big part of that, in one of the parade interviews he said his dad had already talked to him about what to do to be better for next year. :lol: I also liked how his dad was pointing at the World Series logo on his shirt during Kris' interview tonight.

I just realized something today walking by a magazine rack, poor Monty is immortalized with nobody to celebrate with. There were two magazines side by side with two slightly different pictures. One had the probably most famous of the celebration photos of Bryzzo jumping into each others arms, and Baez/Russell embraced and kind of looking like they are going to the ground and there's Monty in the middle trying to get in on the Bryzzo action, and the second cover was the same shot but about 5 seconds beforehand and from the other side and Monty is just arriving and looking lonely.
