    I've become completely out of the loop on the Cubs minor leaguers outside of the big names, I'll probably be going to a South Bend Cubs game in Beloit in a couple of weeks... will there be anybody exciting to check out?

    This is true. Of course they have played three more games, but maybe we can win all three. Having the Reds at Wrigley for a three-game series to finish the season is a very nice thing to have in their back pocket. When the Cubs won the division three weeks earlier?

    I feel worse about the Bulls and their future than I did about the Cubs in the last days of Jim Hendry. Not to be morbid and all, but is there any reason to believe that the end of the Jerry Reinsdorf era is going to be anything close to Bill to Rocky Wirtz?

    I used to get enjoyment out of Lebron failing (mostly before his first title), but GOAT arguments don't interest me anymore. I grew up on Jordan. I don't remember becoming a fan, I just always was. He's like a superhero. I like Batman (MJ), some people like Superman (LJ) they're wrong but whatever. The underrated thing I like about Jordan's legacy is the hall of famers that were denied a ring (at least partly) because the prime of their careers ran up against Jordan's 8 year reign - Ewing, Miller, Barkley, Stockton, Malone... What future hall of famer in the mid to later part of their primes hasn't won a ring yet in this era? Melo, anybody else? I'm pretty far out of the NBA loop, but I can't think of anybody else. Certainly not anybody to stack up against those from the '90s.

    Is there someplace that calculates ERA for half innings after your team scores runs? Seems like that would be really hard to do, but I have to imagine if it was a thing it seems like the Cubs would be high.

    Yeah no clue what MLB's authority is here, can they just call up his wife. Would they even have that contact info, do they have the authority to ask for it and receive it?
