What can be said? Going into the ASB down 5.5 wasn't ideal, but I and many others still thought playoffs were very attainable. What not many people saw coming was it would only take 2 weeks till they were in first. The Cubs are in first place all alone by .001 % (I'm not sure if that is how the math works on that, but I'm going with it), and ladies and gentleman THE PROFESSOR IS BACK! no no no, that's not what you came here for http://www.chicagonow.com/cubs-den/files/2016/05/hendricks.jpg The South Siders counter with a guy named Miguel Gonzalez.

Our mighty Chicago Cubs are 7-1 since obtaining the services of Jose Quintana. They have played many innings of great baseball, and 1 very bad 1/2 inning. For whatever reason the Cubs are unable to figure out the declining "Waino", but fear not they have historically abused this Wacha person. They shall rain down dongs with anger and furious vengeance.

I'm not sure if it matters, but Sands wasn't all over the place. Most of the stuff he missed with was just off the plate. Only like one real good hit against him and a couple of ground balls that should have been turned into outs. Peredes first at bat smacked it up the middle pitcher stabbed at it and the ball ricocheted off his glove right to the 2nd baseman for the ground out, 2nd at bat a real nice opposite field double down the right field line, 3rd at bat long fly out to right center field a couple of feet from the wall, and 4th at bat broken bat fielder's choice to the 3rd baseman -
