Justin Verlander acquired at the last possible second of the waiver deadline Game 2 ALCS 9.0IP, 5H, 1BB, 1ER, 13K If only it had been Avila and Verlander instead of Avila and Wilson.

Do the Astros not have one of those super bullpens? They have Verlander out there in a tie game nearing 120 pitches, and had their closer go 5 outs in game 1.
