  1. If the Indians win the next two, they're at the least guaranteed a playoff game... hopefully the sox can sweep the yanks
  2. I think Arizona would at least consider it. I'd do it. The Cubs get huge salary relief. Webb makes the rotation dangerous. Tracy is a step down from Lee, but gives the Cubs OBP, and the ability to still go out and get a big bat. =P~ I think some people here are against trading Lee too much. His value will never be higher, and it's untelling what they could get for him.
  3. So the theory of evolution has not been forced on students in school? Say what you want about the evidence supporting it and what have you, but the fact remains that there are plenty of people that do not believe in evolution that have it thrown at them every day in school/college. There will always be things forced on others... that'll never change.
  4. I don't know anyone that has used Rackspace, but from browsing their website they look very professional. You aren't going to find a little mom-and-pop company that is inexpensive that can host this large of a site (which I'm sure you already know that), so I would say it's time to move on up.
  5. Nice verb use of yanr there Vance. =D>
  6. http://www.hardballtimes.com/thtstats/main/index.php?view=offense&linesToDisplay=30&sortBy=rcPerGame&thenBy=lastName&teamAbbr=Tm&leagueAbbr=NL&pos=LF&qualified=All&Submit=Submit that's obviously in a lot fewer PAs than the other players on that list, but he's still in good company
  7. That game is being telecast on ESPN Classic. For some reason I don't normally think of IU-UK football and "classic" in the same breath. :D UK has played 2 of the 1st 3 on ESPN Classic, somehow they didn't show them playing Idaho St.? and I don't get ESPN classic :shaking:
  8. I'd rather not have Hairston as our lead-off man. His .337 OBP this year and career .334 OBP is simply not good enough.
  9. it appears that way
  10. “I chose to come here because I love the team and I love the city and the fans,” said Walker, on whom the Cubs hold a $2.5 million option for next year. “To get moved would be pretty disappointing for me.” http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/cubs.asp?id=88967
  11. lolz u r gona get owned by dat girl CTTTTTTTTTT Stop makin me look lame in front of da ladies dobssssss you dont need any help wit dat, bro i'm jk lolz
  12. lolz u r gona get owned by dat girl CTTTTTTTTTT
  13. Going by runs created, he's the best offensive catcher in the national league. hardballtimes I think we should keep him. His defense can be improved.
  14. Dunn likely gets a 5/60 deal if not more than that. I'd do 5/60.
  15. I think you're correct, but it could be that all variants of stump the schwab are taken :P
  16. ??? Roast talked to a girl? I think he's just playing, Cubsin05
  17. I'm not... Huff's OPS so far this year is only .042 better than Holly's.
  18. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250727115 I think Murton has the same attitude.
  19. I love Freel and his .400+ OBP. I just hate to see him playing in Cincinnati.
  20. 2nd in SLG is really surprising. I too dont see the point of keeping him peoria any longer. Once this 3 game series is done and he works with his future double play partner its time to move south. BTW who is this hottest woman on the planet? Is she even a women yet, she looks younger than 18. Also this chic needs to lay of the lip gloss, shes got it all over her face. Truffle is going to kill you now. Since I knew nothing (still don't know very much) about Cubs' prospects prior to this year, does E. Patterson have a higher ceiling than it looked like Corey had at that level?
  21. Me too. I started using Firebird (Firefox) at version 0.7. If you really want to go with an alternative browser, try K-Meleon.
  22. i was for two games
  23. Yes, the Brewers, a team that is 1 1/2 games behind us right now in the division. I don't think you can use that as a reason to diminish Hill's potential.
  24. Maybe someday he'll be as good as.....Farnsworth. Maybe. Let's see how Farnsworth ends up the season. I think we all know he isn't much of a second-half player. That said, I'm still not sure he would be putting up these numbers in Chicago...the place just didn't seem to be a good fit for him. He wasn't much of a second-half player in Chicago because Dusty used Farnsworth so much.
