    Underachieving and lazy, plus a horrible coaching staff. It sometimes seems like the team plays with no motivation whatsoever and are just going through the motions. Very frustrating to watch day after day.

    So I went out to see a movie tonight and missed the entire game, and don't even care. And I always care how the Cubs do. Man, I really hoped this would be a good year, but it doesn't seem so great.

    I haven't been the biggest fan of Holly lately, but he is still a very good pinch hitter and 4th outfielder, so I'm glad to see him stay. Hopefully with Lawton, Hollandsworth will be used in the roles where he's the best.

    Will Lawton be playing CF? I thought he was strictly LF/RF and not a great fielder.

    What do you expect? A 13-6 loss, and a blockbuster trade compared to all other trades (with Cubs getting the good end) I didn't expect anything. I was just commenting on it. It's been awhile since there's been such a small game thread, but I'm sure a bunch of people just turned off the TV after the grand slam. I did.

    Tell me something I don't know. The Aztecs didn't use the wheel in their day to day life--even when they had to haul huge stones to build their pyramids. But that's not because they didn't understand the concept of the wheel. Many toys made for Aztec children had wheels on them. For some reason, though, they chose not to incorporate it on a larger scale. hahah, awesome!
