Sisco is already pitching for the Royals.

It starts his option clock meaning he'd have to clear waivers in 3 years if he was sent down. What remains unclear is whether the Cubs are required to add him to their 40 man roster if/when he returns or whether they can wait until next winter to do that. -
Your guess is correct. Ugh....I hate Rule V. I understand how it helps the players...blah blah...but it hurts the Cubbies...hmpfph! FYI it's rule 5 not rule V. Though it may seem to hurt the Cubs it has made them $125K richer this season. :lol:

Tim, You forgot Andy Sisco. And in the interest of saving time: Don Kessinger was Good will say that Sisco is gone for good. Vance will then respond that he could still come back. Just thought I'd save some bandwidth. :lol:
