    Lou is worlds better than Dusty, but this is one area where they're very similar. At least I won a month of premium yesterday. I'd much rather have a Cubs win today, though. Getting a free month of premium and still getting the magic number down by one isn't half-bad, though. True. Although I'd like it at no more than 2 tonight, though.

    It's true. Any team can win.. But the better teams always have a better shot going in, and I tend to think the Cubs are the best NL playoff team all around... Playoff team, yes. We match up well with just about any of the contenders, although I'd rather not go out West if I didn't have to. However, how we play in the remaining regular season games remains to be seen.

    Yea. Aramis is a gutless, choking dog. Can people relax at all? Not when we're playing like this, no. You can relax all you want, though. Our best reliever got beat by one of the best hitters in the game. Is that that hard to accept? There's 3 more outs to try to tie/win this. If not, hopefully St. Louis can take care of business for us. I don't put this on Marmol. I put this on Marquis crapping the bed, and the offense swinging at anything within the city limits of Miami.

    And to think of all those runs we wasted against Pittsburgh... It's just like this team to play so good like that and get everyone believing, and then play so bad that a good college team could beat them 2 of 3. Only the Cubs.
