  1. What I said yesterday. This Macias & Perez PH fest has got to stop.
  2. Starts down the stretch and hopefully in the playoffs. That's funny. We need something to give away as well.
  3. I noticed that the W/L of the game thread starter is updated as the season progresses. Does the starter with the most wins or highest W/L get some type of award?
  4. In the '04 playoffs, the Cards were winless in the games that I started the thread. Granted, they were the visiting team each time, but still.
  5. You echo my sentiment in that the basis of a good move or bad move is usually dictated by the outcome. However, you mention the concept of "enough merit to support" certain decisions. In this case, I do not see the merit to support the decision.
  6. For the record: The Cubs were 27-17 in 1 run games in 2003 (in case someone is wondering)
  7. This thread will easily clear 1K views within 12 hours of the original post. Of course, the use of this thread will be based on the number of bad moves that Baker makes this season. With that being said, I fear that this thread may need to be a weekly one, a la the chit chat thread.
  8. I don't care who starts the thread. However, if it's not up by tomorrow, someone else will start it. Wouldn't it be better for Raisin to start the thread with the understanding that Roast will keep his turn than for someone else to start it?
  9. Maybe he will get the thread going in the AM when he gets up. I say wait til then and if he doesn't have it going by 8ish, bump him back. It's very possible he was in bed before the game was even over...and the rules say not to start the new thread til the game is over. So, he may have had no chance. It's not his fault. I agree with you and I'm not blaming him at all. I have no problem with the fact that it is not up and it won't hurt to wait until the morning.
  10. How many games can we look back to and say that a move Dusty made in the game definitely gave us a win. I know alot of praise and/or blame is given based on whether a move is successful, but the PH moves tonight were not the best moves he could've made.
  11. If Roast was to get the game thread up in the morning that would be one thing. However, if the thread is going during the AM, someone is going to start it. I don't see a problem with someone putting up the thread and letting his start the next one. I'm sure that he wouldn't care if that happened.
  12. Ah, Game 1 of the NLCS. Nothing like driving 11 hours with your wife for your first Cub game and watching Lowell go yard in extras to seal it. It's not like balls were soaring out of the park that night, how could Dusty have known?
  13. I've been a frusty-rated with Dusty since the 2003 NLCS
  14. When a team is losing, is there such a thing as a useless AB?
  15. ha ha, maybe it's the alcohol that keeps people trusty in Dusty
  16. Is this a BandWGN? It's a name ZZ uses for those who oppose Dusty. I've tried to defend him at times and have normally been on the fence with him, but ugh. Well, this guy will be disappointed http://www.festastuff.com/Merchant2/images/az2004march/az_cubs_tim_with_banner.jpg

  20. I fear this to be a busy area this season.
  21. ha ha. You should get to throw out the honorary NSBB first pitch for your service to your fellow poster.

  23. If this question is directed to me, I'm afraid you'll have to rephrase it: I don't know what you're trying to ask. Wow, I must've been tired when I wrote that. What I was trying to ask was "What was Oneri's reaction or response overall to the questions asked by the posters at NSBB?". I was curious as to what his overall opinion was in regards to the site based on the questions he received.
  24. This may be OT, but what was his response to the questions asked by Oneri? I am curious as to what he opinion was of NSBB after responding to the questions.
  25. Excellent read to say the least. Just another reason why NSBB is the greatest!
