  1. what terrible scoring on the Creighton play. The scorer said that it was a line drive and Matt had to come in. Nevermind that Matt had the ball in his glove and lost it.
  2. It sounds like the home plate ump is trying to make some trouble. Anyone care to explain for those of us who are unable to listen? The umps have made plenty of controversial calls during the game, and the crew chief has been giving it back to the both managers when they come out to argue. DJAXX reviewed the play I was referring to. Way to take one for the team, Creighton! I can't believe the crew hasn't thrown anyone out. Then again, I've seen this crew. Ron is saying that the Creighton error has been ruled a double!?!?!?!?!!?
  3. ha ha, Ron needs to drop a soda on him, he's really making the south sound back. Walk makes it a 2 run lead.
  4. It sounds like the home plate ump is trying to make some trouble. Anyone care to explain for those of us who are unable to listen? "Controversial" (Ron) called strike three with the leadoff runner on with nobody out. Dickerson went to argue and returned to the dugout. Either he kept jawing or blue was upset about the fact that everyone has questioned their calls and was looking for a fight.
  5. Creighton got hit! (at least the ump said he was clipped) Yet another Manager on the field to argue with this crew
  6. Bases loaded for Creighton.....
  7. It sounds like the home ate ump is trying to make some trouble. This crew had had both sides arguing calls most of the night, which has lead to the fans getting into the action.
  8. Jaxx with 2 on, 2 out in the top of the 10th. It sound like a violent atmosphere in Montgomery. Be careful, Ron!
  9. It sounds like the umpiring crew is having trouble keeping control in Montgomery
  10. According to my notes that's his first E of the season with the Jaxx (unless he made one earlier in the game) Sorry, Matt :alright:
  11. Ugh, right off his glove. Ron was saying, "Creighton catch--NO! He dropped it." :( Now I know what the Cardinal fans felt like when Pujols ripped that ball in the 9th...........................right to Neifi
  12. Free baseball in Montgomery
  13. Creighton misplays the ball for an E :x ](*,) #-o 3-3, winning RISP
  14. 1st & 3rd, 2 outs, 3-1 Jaxx :x
  15. Sorry, Andy... runner on 2nd, 3-1 Jaxx, 2 outs
  16. Andy Shipman is the man, he's retired all 3 he's faced (2 via the K)
  17. .310/.375/.586/.961 in 29 ABs/9 games at AA. Not too shabby. Agreed, he's playing great ball since joining the Jaxx. He's also made some solid defensive plays (even though he got an error).
  18. Jaxx score on a single from Montanez who gets in a rundown to end the inning. To the bottom of the 9th, 3-1 Jaxx.
  19. Don't forget that Carlos also threw a fastball over a guy's head that hit his bat for a foul ball.
  20. Maybe... "The Biscuits are 1-118 when trailing after 8"-Ron

  22. Only one HBP on the line? Unless it was scored otherwise I know he hit 2 guys. That's what Ron Potesta said at the start of this half inning. EDIT: And Ron just repeated the same line.
  23. Only one HBP on the line? Unless it was scored otherwise I know he hit 2 guys. That's what Ron Potesta said at the start of this half inning. strange.
