I looked at the WGN blog today and saw that Len answered questions there as well. I really appreciate the detail that he gave in his responses and look forward to the answers that he'll give the folks here.

    Agreed, I did not expect what I found. In case you can't tell, the star is made of buried baseballs and that is a real pitching rubber buried in the garden. Although I didn't count to see which movie had the most phrases, there were several quotes from Bull Durham.

    The intensity and breadth of the Perez bashing never ceases to amaze. That blind squirrel has found a more than a few nuts this year. Why do I get the felling that if Patterson had got that hit we would get more than a few posts stating that it was a sign that he has turned the corner. Perez is no all star but give the guy credit when he deserves it. That was intensity? It wasn't even all caps.
