  1. You can get in and look for tickets with no waiting at all right now.
  2. Thanks, I can't wait! The first time it gave me tickets for that game they came up in the right field corner. I asked for different seats and there they were! Unfortunately my wife won't be able to go, but I don't think I'll have a hard time finding someone who wants to make the trip!
  3. I can't complain about the experience. I have a rough schedule to say the least, especially once we get to the month of June. With that being said, I figured if I got any tickets it would be great, but if I didn't I wouldn't be disappointed. I got in twice, but the window closed out on the second attempt. In any case, I don't mind section 120 for the Brewers/Cubs on April 29th! The only way it'll get any better is if I win a DLee signed bat! Too bad the Chiefs aren't home on the 28th. http://www.seatdata.com/images/mlb_cubs/170x128/120.jpg
  4. I'm out for the day, you all have fun. I hope all of you can get through!
  5. By the time I got your message I was already in. I think it's probably more about the thrill of breaking the VWR :D
  6. Well I got in twice and was able to get tickets once. Not the game I was looking for, but seats in section 120 behind home plate for the April 29 Cubs/Brewers game.
  7. Ugh, I had a second box opened and it closed before I could get Braves tickets in May
  8. Opening Day and July Sox games are sold out
  9. Cubs/Brewers in April behind home plate!
  10. 80 minutes, 17 boxes, access denied. I'm 0-2720
  11. Has anyone tried for tickets for a game that is sold out?
  12. I think getting tickets for the NLCS in '03 with one window on a dial modem is paying me back today, ha ha Congrats to those of you who've been able to get tickets!
  13. That's the way I feel. If I get in, I'm going to try to get some tickets for a few of the marquee games, if I don't no worries. I live so close to the stadium that if we want to go, we usually don't have trouble finding some tickets. In my case I'm looking at a long road trip, but I would enjoy getting to go. Summer has a lot going on, so I'm looking at April/May.
  14. I'm going to go ahead and try to get tickets, but won't be disappointed if I don't get through.
  15. I found this article that has some information on the possible sale of the Jaxx.
  16. I'd say to go to every game possible. In addition, I'd recommend scheduling trips to West Tennessee and Peoria. Any game against a Cards affiliate (Memphis) is a fun place to be.
  17. Sasha Cohen is off to a good start
  18. Those were some great moments in '05!
  19. Great! I can see it now: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid201/pb87c8ebe6623c09d77f3b9c0f99ec4b9/f0163f03.jpg Sign me up for 27 caps. That's a great picture! I bet that will be in someone's avatar or sig before long!
  20. In regards to blackouts, the Direct TV folks told me something to the point that I'm blacked out of market games. In my case, I'm in the region that has Fox Sports Net Ohio. Because of that, I'm blacked out of any Cubs/Reds games on MLB EI that FSN Ohio shows. It's complicated, but that's how it worked last year. Last year was my first year of MLB EI and I absolutely loved it. I'm with Vance in that I enjoy being able to watch lots of games in addition to the Cubs. Being in the central time zone, I enjoy being able to stay up and watch the games on the west coast. If you love baseball and have the money to spend, it is well worth it.
  21. In regards to the quote from Hedrick, I'm wanting to say that he also voiced displeasure with the focus on Davis because Joey Cheek had won a gold medal and was receiving little attention. When you add the fact that Cheek is giving prize money to charity, it is a shame that the majority of questions remained on Davis backing out of the team chase.
  22. From the latest Cubs Mailbag
  23. For those of you who didn't see it, Len had a "Message from the Home Office" on the WGN Blog
  24. He did. I recall seeing a picture of him in the ST Pictures thread.
