Both will be fine... as long as he comes back. But, since he has such a great mind devoted to pitching, I think he should come back as a pitching coach. He can do either, but pitching coach is my suggestion. -

Wait, so just like the Nats home opener last year, he will be in Reds dugout, and wearing Reds gear? Damn? Atleast Cubs will get to thank him for trading Sammy Sosa. Does anyone know how the secret service would protect him? I mean are they going to make all fans go through metal detectors? Check all of their luggage? It would be real easy for something bad to happen in an event such as this... -
I agree. But I wouldn't mind an owner that would take a more proactive approach to winning. For some raeson, I could picture Mark Cuban going out and offering Billy Beane or Theo Epstein an absurd amount of money to come here, and then giving them lots of freedom to go out and get the best players they can with that much money. Think Red Sox...not Yankees... I was thinking the same thing. Cubs would also get better TV time especially during spring... and more High Definition games...
