    :shock: that is some tremendous bat speed!! :shock: I could be wrong, but I don't think it's the speed of the bat that is causing it to bend, it's the impact of two hard objects moving at almost equal and opposite speeds. It's wood, it flexes from the impact, not from moving in the air. Doesnt he carry one of the more heavier bats?

    A - for what he's said so far. I cannot believe my eyes and ears. He could not be more perfect with his words. Hopefully that will carry over to his decisions in the regular season.

    Wow... Less than 13 days until opening day. That was quick.

    2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K since his return from the injury. Very good strikeout/walk ratio and K/9 innings. :D I like the move.. But I would've preferred a couple more appearances before they decided it for sure.

    I agree. We have a manager who will play the best performing player. Not the one with the better past, etc.

    That's how fast his hands are. I've seen a pic of Mark McGuire do similar things.. his arc was bigger.

    Those were 2 great games to push us back above .500. Cubs will now be traveling to Tucson to face the Colorado Rockies at Hi Corbett Field. According to the Rockies website, this will be on FSN Rocky Mountain. It will also be available on MLB.tv. If there's any other broadcasts, or more info on this one, feel free to post it here.
