In person, the team looked a lot sharper in it's physical movement and fundamentals than I expected. No stats to back this statement up, the energy, rhythm, and approach, just seemed right. Felt like midseason.
Got laid off from my job this past week. Have been pretty down about it, so decided I'm going to opening day. Got 1 ticket, upper deck 319R row 5, $83 off stubhub after fees.
I am also on a season ticket split with a group so will be going to Sunday's game as well.
The game threads here are manually started by users. When the team was good, there was a sign-up sheet and a rotation. It was very random on when the threads would get posted based off the designated user's own time. Do you think you can consistently automate the game threads moving forward? Sort of like this bot /r/chicubs: https://www.reddit.com/user/ChiCubsbot/ Would be nice to have a box score/stats/scoring plays thrown in as well.
Bellinger will put up an OPS+ > 100, or better than 6/7 of Jason Heyward's years with the Cubs Also, hitting at Wrigley should be better for him than Doyer stadium, right?
It looks like they are limiting all geographical inter-league rivalries to 2 games at home, 2 away. Yankees/Mets Athletics/Giants Marlins/Rays Cards/Royals Reds/Spiders I think it was the same deal the past few years, I do remember the 4 Cubs/Sox games being consecutive, 2 at Wrigley, 2 at the Cell.
