  1. I've been wondering for a while why any top recruit ever signs an LOI. There's almost no benefit to them, when they can get aid promised that doesn't bind them to the school. top recruits commit to top schools and top schools take those who sign. kentucky has an army of brandon knights itching to take their money. don't want to lose out on the highest bidder, you know? Of sourse snood understands how that works. You seen Selby's ride? Is it totaled with Brian Carwell's dying body in it?

Brandon Knight could call any school in America right now and say, "I want to play there." It wouldn't matter if that school had open schollies or not, they'd make room. Any school. It doesn't make sense for these kids to bind themselves to a school without any escape hatch. Brandon's playing it the right way for a top player, imo.

  4. Sounds like CJ Leslie passed on UK and Florida for NC State.
  5. I guess if you have no faith in the team 3pt shooting, that's the play you draw up.
  6. not sure i like that play
  7. man, just can't catch a break. shot doesn't fall, then after the stop, noah can't corral the tough board.
  8. absolutely no one besides rose should handle the ball for the rest of this game
  9. agreed. not that i wouldnt take him on my team.
  10. What are you watching on the Rose call? They just showed the replay again, you want to retract? I saw the play. The whistle was late. At worst they got the spirit of the rule right. In which case, it was the first time in the history of the NBA the spirit of the rule was called. Only a Cavs fan would think that was a good call.

  14. is lebron always "hurt"?
  15. THIS IS BULLSH--
  16. that dude looked like he was a 45-year-old rec league player
  17. It has a lot more potential than Creighton. ISU fans are pretty devoted. And it wasn't too long ago that Tim Floyd made them a player in the Big 12.
  18. funny stuff if you're a Calipari hater. Not that it really proves anything but.... http://www.testudotimes.com/2010/4/24/1441173/some-of-you-will-enjoy-this-one
  19. WTF? Who takes a step down like that on his own choice? It was obvious to everybody else he wasn't cut out for the big time. Maybe he realized it too.
  20. did he not get drafted? what was the knock on him? Several knee surgeries is the big thing, and I've heard a couple reports about his game translating. Some make sense(ability to get off a jam), others make me wonder if they were watching the right player(only average straight line speed). The biggest thing was the knee surgery after the season was over. I think he was getting projected as a 4th-5th round guy before he got hurt at whatever Senior Bowl type game he went to. Yeah I was hearing 3rd-5th rounds for him before the injury. Still, I would've thought he was worth a look late. He still hasn't signed with anyone yet Didn't realize he got hurt after the season. That sucks.

  22. you guys make mizzou fans seem like a level-headed, pleasant, affable bunch.
  23. Illinois fans are an angry, bitter people.
  24. You bet your ass we wish we still had Bill Self. I'd trade Weber for Self so fast it'd make your head spin. That doesn't change the fact he has flaws. I, for one, hated Kansas long, long before I knew who Bill Self was, though. No doubt he has flaws. And I'm talking aside from being a shaman. Mostly I'm just messing with Sulley.
