I've been wondering for a while why any top recruit ever signs an LOI. There's almost no benefit to them, when they can get aid promised that doesn't bind them to the school. top recruits commit to top schools and top schools take those who sign. kentucky has an army of brandon knights itching to take their money. don't want to lose out on the highest bidder, you know? Brandon Knight could call any school in America right now and say, "I want to play there." It wouldn't matter if that school had open schollies or not, they'd make room. Any school. It doesn't make sense for these kids to bind themselves to a school without any escape hatch. Brandon's playing it the right way for a top player, imo.
