  1. Mike Davis is good. This game will go down to the wire. Ugh.
  2. seems like a bad day to be a higher seed
  3. The game was in good hands.
  4. Brown took too long to start that drive. I thought Johnson got fouled.
  5. geez, what a terrible turnover by UT
  6. He does a lot better job of making his defender work than most non-shooting guards. He's a good ball handler and isn't afraid to attack the basket. He hasn't attacked much in the handful of games I've seen UT play. I'd give him less minutes and J'Covan Brown more, unless there the other team's success was totally predicated on guard play (where Balbay's defense is worth more.) Maybe I just haven't seen UT play enough.
  7. speaking of balbay, he looked like he just got lit by an uncalled moving screen.
  8. I know Balbay is a great defender, but I still wonder how big an asset he is on the court given his offense.
  9. wow, that was a hell of a look.
  10. Miles Plumlee looks like the evil rich kid from one of those T&A Skiing movies.
  11. Glad I'm not the only one. I'm struggling to see the 1 and done hype with him. I don't think he should go pro. I have no idea if he'll be drafted in the first round anymore. But kids do stupid stuff all the time.
  12. he has a stress reaction in his foot. they say he's at 80%. I assume he'll be back, but you never know.
  13. UI has played UT, OSU, Purdue, and Wisc close. No reason to think they can't do the same (or beat) KU, especially with the KU's penchant for playing only half a game. I really wanted UNLV to win that game. You are the second best team in America. We are a 9 seed. Sack up. i'll wallow in pessimism, and you'll like it.

  15. i have to admit-i did not want to play UI in the tourney. This is going to be stressful.
  16. PM plz Maybe all those "time to die" texts I sent him at halftime did some good. you're welcome. i owe you a beer
  17. PM plz
  18. way to show up guys
  19. What are their numbers counting only eligible players? still better than UI's.
  20. Are you kidding? The weather was the biggest regional news story of the day before the guy died. How ignorant do you think the meteorological community is? It was a huge story all over the midwest with many coaches contemplating practicing inside. It's laughable to say that Kelly may have thought the weather seemed fairly normal. It was a gorgeous day. The sun was shining. The birds were chirping. Semi tractor trailers were being blown across the highway like tumbleweeds.
  21. They aren't allowed to have sex. hahahaha
  22. this is not surprising. in 2008 the highest seed they beat to get to the final four was an 8. bracket usually sets up well for them. Both of you guys have teams in the tourney, yet you're more concerned about KU's path. Weird. youre right, mizzous game is in two hours and 10 minutes, i better start getting in the right frame of mind for it. otherwise, they will for sure lose. GAME FACE TIME. You probably own a Bucknell tshirt. It's cool. I won't judge.
  23. No, Illinois' path should be of concern to the Illinois fans in this tournament. It's odd that an Illinois fan should see the bracket in the context of KU when UI is in the same bracket. What happened today is a good thing for both teams.
  24. and yet all I've heard all week is how they always get screwed and get the toughest region. yeah, how dare the committee schedule them to play a single digit seed before the elite eight! I brought up '08 and beating a 12 to get to the final four. One of the people I am in charge of came back with "we had all number ones in the final four." Yeah you usually play good teams there. Sorry. That's not a very good argument. Their hardest game by far on the way to the Final Four was the Stephen Curry led Davidson team. What does it matter anyway? They were statistically the best team in the tourney. It's not like they were some fluke team who got in because the path opened up. they had the #1adjD and the #2adjO in the nation per kenpom.
